Leicester City take on PSV on Thursday at the King Power Stadium, with both teams looking to cement their credentials as potential UEFA Europa Conference League winners at the quarter-final stage.

The hosts come into proceedings on the back of a mixed run of form, winning twice, losing twice, and drawing once in their past five fixtures. Brendan Rodgers will be looking for a strong start in the two-legged tie, as Leicester aim to progress to the semi-finals of European competition for the first time in their history.

PSV could prove to be a difficult test for the Foxes, with Roger Schmidt's side unbeaten in their past 13 matches and also in contention for the Eredivisie title.

Come kick-off time, there is reason to believe this will be a tight affair between two sides who are more than capable of performing on the continental stage. Leicester will be hoping that their home support cranks up the noise as they look to end another season with silverware.

Leicester vs. PSV predicted lineups

Leicester will be without the services of Nampalys Mendy for the quarter-final tie, with the Senegalese midfielder presently ineligible to feature in the Europa Conference League. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will likely drop deeper to deputise in his absence, with Youri Tielemans returning to the side.

Jonny Evans looks likely to continue in central defence as he gets over the worst of a calf problem, while Ademola Lookman or Marc Albrighton could be set for a start on the right flank.

Leicester predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Schmeichel (GK) — Justin, Fofana, Evans, Castagne — Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall — Lookman, Maddison, Barnes — Iheanacho.

On the other hand, the visitors will have to do without midfielder Erick Gutierrez, who is suspended after chalking up three yellow cards in European competition this season.

Noni Madueke and Cody Gakpo may be called upon to provide creativity and pace in the wide areas. Israeli striker Eran Zahavi will be charged with spearheading the PSV attack.

PSV predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Drommel (GK) — Mauro Junior, Teze, Boscagli, Max — Veerman, Sangare — Madueke, Gotze, Gakpo — Zahavi.

Leicester vs. PSV betting odds

Goals are likely in this tie, with both sides preferring to play on the front foot and attack from the off. Leicester have plenty of offensive quality and will hope that the likes of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes are able to lay on plenty of chances to Kelechi Iheanacho, who has a reputation as one of the most clinical finishers in the Premier League when he gets the chance to impress.

PSV may look to sit in on the break and counter due to the pace in their forward line. Former Tottenham man Noni Madueke could be pivotal to their chances of pulling this off, with his unique mix of skill, pace, and end product attracting attention from top sides around Europe.
