France vs Morocco lineups

France came through their battle with England unscathed, as suspension risks Jules Kounde and Aurelien Tchouameni avoided a caution, and Didier Deschamps could stick with an unchanged starting team.

France projected lineup (4-3-3): 1. Lloris (GK) — 5. Kounde, 4. Varane, 18. Upamecano, 22. Hernandez — 14. Rabiot, 7. Griezmann, 8. Tchouameni — 11. Dembele, 9. Giroud, 10. Mbappe

Regragui will wait until the last minute to make a call on captain Roman Saiss, after the Besiktas star was forced off injured against Portugal, with Achraf Dari on standby to step in.

His absence would be a major blow for Morocco with fellow centre back Nayef Aguerd also struggling to recover from injury.

Morocco projected lineup (4-3-3): 1. Bono (GK) — 2. Hakimi, 18. Yamiq, 6. Saiss, 3. Mazraoui — 8. Ounahi, 4. Amrabat, 15. Amallah — 7. Ziyech, 19. En-Nesyri, 17. Boufal

France vs Morocco odds, prediction

France's strong showing against England has revived their status as favourites to go on and defend their title despite the tricky prospect of Morocco on the horizon.

Morocco have been the story of Qatar 2022, with Regragui's charges winning over neutrals on route to the last four, and their defensive record of one goal conceded from five matches in Qatar hints at a low-scoring contest in this one.
