Three goals in Women's World Cup history have been scored inside the first minute of a match.
The fastest of those came after just 30 seconds, scored by Lena Videkull of Sweden, who struck against hosts China in the inaugural 1991 tournament.
Melissa Tancredi of Canada scored after 37 seconds against Australia in 2007, while Lori Chalupny of the United States stunned Nigeria in the same tournament.

Other fastest goals in Women's World Cup history
The fastest goal in a World Cup final was scored by Carli Lloyd of the United States who struck in the third minute against Japan in 2015.
The fastest hat-trick by a Women's World Cup player was Fabienne Humm of Switzerland, who bagged three goals in a five-minute span against Ecuador in 2015. The fastest hat-trick from kickoff was by Lloyd again, who parlayed that third-minute goal in the 2015 final into a treble after just 16 minutes of action.
The fastest goal scored by a Women's World Cup substitute was Pia Wunderlich of Germany against Russia in 2003. Wunderlich scored within three minutes of her introduction in a thumping 7-1 win for the eventual champions.
