Canada will be hoping there is room for one more shock result at the 2022 FIFA World Cup when they take on Croatia at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Making their first trip to the finals since 1986, and only their second tournament appearance ever, Les Rouges face the prospect of an early exit unless they can match the exploits of the likes of Japan and Saudi Arabia and engineer a surprise against the 2018 beaten finalists.
Coached by Englishman John Herdman, the North Americans were unfortunate not to come away with something from their Group F opener against Belgium — talisman Alphonso Davies seeing an early penalty saved as they eventually fell to a 1-0 defeat.
Herdman was in bullish mood afterwards, insisting his side were ready to "eff Croatia" and bounce back. But Luka Modric and Co. may have something to say about that.
Although he is now in the twilight of his career, the Real Madrid playmaker still pulls the strings for Croatia, who themselves have work to do after a tame opening 0-0 draw against Morocco.
It means there is all to play for when these two meet on Sunday, with the winners likely to be in pole position to qualify.
