Despite picking up their first Champions League group stage victory at the third attempt, against Copenhagen three weeks ago in a very narrow 1-0 win, Manchester United still remain in danger of failing to reach the knockout stages.
United remain behind both Bayern Munich and Galatasaray ahead of kickoff and will know that picking up another three points here could prove crucial to reaching the competition's knockout rounds.
But United are still struggling to put in convincing performances. A last minute 1-0 win at Fulham in the Premier League over the weekend will have boosted spirits at a important time for under pressure boss Erik ten Hag, but successive 3-0 defeats to rivals Manchester City and Newcastle were damaging for the club.
As such, expect hosts Copenhagen to fly out of the traps here at Parken Stadium, a difficult venue for any side to travel to. They've won their last three matches here and claimed a big 4-2 victory over the weekend over Randers to stay top of the Danish Superliga standings. The Sporting News previews the game here.

Copenhagen vs Manchester United best bet
- Pick: Both teams to score - YES
- Odds: -150 (DraftKings)
Given that the two sides need a positive result, we're expecting both to have plenty of chances in front of goal as we anticipate an open match.
Copenhagen have found the back of the net in eight of their past nine home matches, including against Bayern Munich, so expect them to get on the scoresheet again here, especially against a vulnerable United defence.
Speaking of United, they finally ended their two-game goalscoring duck at the weekend with a 91st minute winner from captain Bruno Fernandes. They also won the reverse match versus Copenhagen narrowly and even though goalscoring has been hard to come by for the visitors, they should find the net here. Their star attacking players, such as Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, are likely to have plenty of space to operate within as the game opens up.
Copenhagen vs Manchester United flier bet
- Pick: Rasmus Hojlund to score anytime, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay 1+ shot on target each
- Odds: +850 (DraftKings)
Staying on a similar theme of expecting plenty of drama and opportunities for both sides here, we've picked a bit of a single game parlay bet for the visitors.
Young striker Rasmus Hojlund has looked exciting in short bursts and given his familiarity with the Parken Stadium from a Danish national team perspective, he seems a good pick to get on the score sheet for United here.
On top of that, we've rolled in both Fernandes and Scott McTominay to score 1+ shots on target versus Copenhagen. McTominay has been in fine scoring form for club and country of late and is enjoying playing in advanced role under Ten Hag which should give him plenty of opportunity to strike at goal here.
The very same can be said of Fernandes who enjoys shooting from distance and still takes the majority of United's free kicks, which helps his chances.
