Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al Nassr to another Saudi Pro League victory as they ran out comfortable 5-1 winners on the road vs. Al Hazm.

The Portuguese star helped his side to take the advantage halfway through the first half as he found Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who cooly slotted home before a volley from Abdullah Al-Khaibari at the back post doubled their lead at the break.

Al Hazm responded well to halve the deficit as Muhammed Badamosi struck a goal of the season contender into the top corner from distance but it wasn't to be for the hosts as Al Nassr restored their two-goal lead through Otavio thanks to a second Ronaldo assist.

Another fantastic team move shortly after saw Ronaldo fire home from close range to make it four before former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane rounded off the comfortable win in style with a curling effort into the far bottom corner.

That result means Al Nassr have won three consecutive league outings as they look to get their title bid back on track following two early season defeats. Ronaldo also remains the top goalscorer in the competition after netting six times across his opening four matches.

Al Hazm vs Al Nassr live updates, highlights, commentary

FULL TIME: AL HAZM 1-5 AL NASSR

It's another statement win for Ronaldo and co as they continue their fine goalscoring form to put another five on the board. With a goal and two assists, the Portuguese legend will take the plaudits but it proved a fine all-round display from his team with Mane and Brozovic also shining on the night.

Ghareeb started the scoring off midway through the first half for the visitors before Al-Khaibari's volley doubled the lead. The home side responded through a wonder goal from Badamosi just after the halftime break but strikes from Otavio, Ronaldo and Mane sealed another three points for Al Nassr, who are beginning to put their Saudi Pro League title charge together.

90th min: After the second-half goals and substitutions, we'll have six minutes added on here as Ronaldo's Al Nassr side cruise to a third straight victory.

85th min: Laporte has again put in a strong performance for his side here. He may not walk off with another clean sheet but he hasn't given the Al Hazm attack a real sniff other than that wonder goal.

82nd min: This match is well and truly over after that Mane goal. The home side are visibly struggling to keep up with their opposition here and will be desperate to hear that final whistle now.

78th min: ANOTHER FOR AL NASSR!! This time it's Mane that finds the back of the net. Ronaldo finds Ghareeb who then lays it off to Mane who cooly slots home into the far bottom corner. That's the perfect finish from the winger.

75th min: A couple of changes for the away side and it's a debut for left-back Alex Telles. He comes on for Konan with Otavio also departing.

72nd min: OFF THE LINE! Mane is causing absolute chaos down that left wing. This time he waltzes past his man before the ball reaches the back post. Ghareeb lofts it across goal and Mane volleys goalward but it's cleared off the line. Al Nassr are having fun out there now.

68th min: RONALDO SCORES! It's far too easy for Al Nassr this match. Mane dances past his defender down the left wing, he then pulls the ball back to Ghareeb who in turn finds Ronaldo. The Portuguese captain hits it first time, past the goalkeeper and the defender on the line. That's 20 goals in 20 Saudi Pro League matches for Ronaldo!

66th min: Mansour delivers a cross towards the box for the home side but its miles too long and misses all his teammates. Mane and Brozovic are running the show now as Al Nassr look to further extend their lead.

61st min: Al Hazm look unlikely to find a way back into this match now as their energy levels drop again. Al Nassr are just making them chase the ball around the pitch and in this heat, that makes for very tough work.

56th min: GOOOOOAAAALLLL!! AL NASSR GET A THIRD!! Wow, what a team goal this is. Brozovic finds Ronaldo running into the Al Hazm penalty area with a lovely reverse pass before the captain then finds Otavio with a simple but intelligent pass across the six-yard line. The former Porto midfielder makes no mistake and the visitors retake a two-goal lead. That's two assists for Ronaldo on the night!

52nd min: It's all been very stop and start since that Al Hazm goal with a number of free kicks been given. The hosts will want to get under their opposition's skin and they're somewhat managing that right now.

47th min: WHAT A GOAL!!! Al Hazm have a lifeline!! Badamosi skips inside from the left and unleashes a right-footed thunderbolt from about 30 yards. The power and pace of the shot takes it past the helpless Nawaf as it nestles right into the top corner. What a beauty to bring them some hope here - a true goal-of-the-season contender.

46th min: POST! It's brilliant play down the left from Ronaldo and Mane and the Senegalese hits the post.

KICK OFF: Al Nassr get us underway here in the second half. Their last two matches have seen them win 4-0 and 5-0, can they get to a similar scoreline in this second half?

HALF TIME: AL HAZM 0-2 AL NASSR

It's hardly been the most classic of matches but the visitors won't care as they head into the break two goals to the good. Their first saw Ghareeb finish from close range after been set off his way by Ronaldo before Al-Khaibari doubles their lead with a volley at the back post.

Al Hazm have really struggled to get to grips with their opposition's star players. Sadio Mane in particular has looked very lively down the wings, taking on his defender multiple times, whilst Marcelo Brozovic has absolutely bossed the midfield.

At this rate, expect more goals in the second half from Al Nassr as the hosts begin to tire more and more.

Here's their first to enjoy again:

53rd min: GOOOAALLL, NOW IT'S 2-0 TO AL NASSR!! A corner comes in from the left and is cleared away but it falls perfectly for Al-Khaibari who smashes a volley underneath the goalkeeper at the back post. That's about as easy as it gets for the visitors. Game over already?

50th min: Another chance for Al Nassr this time as Ronaldo sees a shot saved. Mane dances past his defender before charging into the box from the left. He pulls the ball back to Ronaldo who fakes to go one way but instead moves to his left and strikes but the keeper pushes his effort wide again.

48th min: Another chance for Ghareeb but again he smashes his effort well over the bar from just inside the penalty area. That's poor finishing.

45th min: CHANCE! Now it definitely should be 2-0 to the visitors. The goalkeeper stops Mane from bending a shot into the far corner of his goal but it falls straight to Otavio. It's clever play from the Portuguese international who finds Ghareeb instead of striking at goal himself but the latter fires over when he should do much better.

12 minutes of added time to come here..

42th min: Al Nassr will feel very hard done by to not be two nil up right now but in truth, their tempo has really slowed in the last ten minutes. Mane and Ronaldo look the best players on the pitch right now but both haven't seen enough of the ball.

36th min: GOAL DISALLOWED! And just like that the visitors think it's 2-0. The ball comes in from Sultan from the right wing and evades Ronaldo but Ghareeb is coming around the back. He takes the ball under his control and squares it to Mane who slots home at the near post. But VAR intervene and there's a foul in the build up. It's very soft but the referee changes his mind and the goal doesn't stand.

33rd min: GOOAAALLLL, AL NASSR!! There's an Al Hazm mistake which gifts possession to Mane. The former Liverpool man finds Ronaldo who in turn lays it on a plate for Ghareeb who slides the ball home into the far corner. That was a perfectly weighted pass from the Portuguese captain. 1-0 to the visitors!

33rd min: A corner comes in from Brozovic and Ronaldo leaps highest but his headed attempt is once again straight at the goalkeeper. Al Nassr knocking on the door..

30th min: We're just going to have a quick drinks break here. The temperature is still close to 40 degrees celsius even though this is a night time kick off.

27th min: CHANCE! The home side have a free kick in a dangerous position which they play into the penalty area. The cross is cleared originally but it falls straight to Viana who smashes a perfectly timed volley goalward. It's on target but Nawaf gets down quickly to palm away - that would have been a great finish!

24th min: It's lovely play down the left from Al Hazm but the chances doesn't come to fruition and Al Nassr break the other way.

Mane finds Sultan with a perfect cross field pass before the attack then breaks down. Just as quickly though the visitors have the ball again and Ronaldo fires on target after coming in off the left flank. It's straight at the keeper however who easily makes the save.

21st min: Mane finds Otavio who tries to flick the ball onto Ronaldo in the box but Dahmen charges out to collect the ball. The Portuguese legend is yet to really get into this match so far.

17th min: Despite their dominance, there's been no such chances for Al Nassr yet and instead it's Al Hazm who have the first shot on target of this game.

Badamosi drives down the right wing before firing straight at the goalkeeper.

13th min: After that lengthy VAR review, Al Nassr continue their early dominance. Otavio in particular looks very lively out there for the visitors, he's constantly finding room and calling for the ball.

8th min: GOOALLL.... NO! Al Nassr have the ball in the back of the net but it's instantly ruled out for offside. Following another corner the visitors deliver the ball into the box which is knocked on and converted by Alkhaibari but he's just off. VAR took their time with that one but they eventually get the decision right.

6th min: It may only be early days in this Saudi Pro League fixture but the difference in quality between the two sides is already very apparent. Al Nassr are knocking the ball around comfortably whilst Al Hazm just sit back and look to break up play whenever possible.

Ronaldo works the goalkeeper but the linesman has his flag up for offside.

3rd min: An early corner for Al Nassr doesn't lead anywhere but it's been all the visitors so far. They've controlled all the possession as they look to make a quick start again here.

KICK OFF: We're underway here in King Abdullah Sport City Stadium as the home side get this game started. The atmosphere is electric!

30 minutes to kick off: With five goals in three matches, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the Saudi Pro League as the top scorer so far this season. Will the Portuguese legend add further to that tally here? We'll find out shortly..

50 minutes to kick off: And here's how the hosts line up in this outing vs Al Nassr!

1 hour to kick off: The Al Nassr lineup is out, and Anderson Talisca remains stuck on the sidelines. Elsewhere Ronaldo captains his side again with Mane playing out wide. Brozovic and Otavio start in the middle of the park for the visitors.

90 minutes to kick off: When these two sides last met in June earlier this year, it was Al Nassr who ran out convincing 4-1 winners. They also hold a very strong record in this head-to-head fixture, winning 14 of the 22 prior meetings.

With a plethora of stars joining the club since then alongside Ronaldo, you can only imagine this match going one way in truth!

2 hours to kick off: After smashing Al Shabab 4-0 last time out, Al Nassr will be looking to claim another victory here as they begin to get their title charge under way.

So far this season Ronaldo is the league's top scorer with five strikes, a tally he'll be extremely keen to add to further here!

Al Hazm vs Al Nassr team news

Winless across their opening four league matches this campaign, Al Hazm need to get their act together fast if they want to avoid the dreaded drop this season.

Without the money of their big spending competition rivals, they'll be reliant on Brazilian winger Vinícius again in this latest outing after he scored the equaliser against Al Khaleej.

The biggest issue for visitors Al Nassr heading into this game is the availability of Anderson Talisca who has not been fit to play in any of the club's last three Saudi Pro League matches. The Brazilian has also been at the centre of transfer speculation in recent weeks but has since told fans that he is happy at the club and looking forward to staying.

Al Hazm starting lineup (4-4-2): Dahmen (GK) — Otaibi, Viana, Al Dakheel, Al-Aazmi — Vinicius, Alsayyali, Traore, Al Shammari — Badamosi, Toze.

Al Hazm subs: Al-Absi, Al-Thani, Al-Bakr, Al-Najjar, Al Habashi, Zaid, Al-Shammari, Al-Mutairi, Al Mhemaid.

His spell on the sidelines has at least been off set by the arrival of defender Aymeric Laporte who has helped his side to keep clean sheets in both of his league appearances so far. Seko Fofana remains sidelined through injury but Marcelo Brozovic, Sadio Mane and Otavio are all expected to start once again in this clash.

Al Nassr starting lineup (4-3-3): Nawaf (GK) — Sultan, Fatil, Laporte, Konan — Alkhaibari, Otavio, Brozovic — Mane, Ronaldo, Ghareeb.

Al Nassr subs: Waleed (GK), Boushal, Telles, Al Sulaihem, Mukhtar, Khalid, Alhassan, Alnemer.
