Australian captain Pat Cummins has reflected on his side's successful World Test Championship campaign, following a dominant 209-run victory over India.
After the first innings heroics of Travis Head and Steve Smith laid the platform, the Aussies backed it up with the ball on the final day as Nathan Lyon (4/41) and Scott Boland (3/46) tore through their opponents.
The two-year WTC stretch saw the Aussies come out on top in the majority of their games, demolishing England on home soil before struggling against India away from home.
But the victory caps off a tremendous stretch for Australia across all three formats, which included their maiden T20 World Cup title and the aforementioned Ashes series win.

Speaking to the media after the conclusion of the Test, the 30-year-old said their run at the top of the Test arena was rewarding for all involved.
“That’s one of the most satisfying bits," he said.
"Obviously the win here, but to make it to the final you’ve got to win everywhere in the world.
"I think this cycle was 20 Test matches and I think we might have only lost three or four.
"The boys were fantastic the whole way through, we adapted well and that’s what makes this so satisfying."

The two-year WTC tournament, which was first introduced in 2019, has become the focal point for Test cricket and is designed to give every match a purpose.
But the format, which concludes with a one-off Test, has left Indian captain Rohit Sharma questioning a potential change.
“I would love that, but is there a time? That’s the big question," he said.
"A three-match series would be nice – you work hard for two years and then you have only one shot at it."
“I think it’s fine… no qualms," the skipper laughed.
"I think ideally, you’d have a 50-match series.
"But the Olympics come down to one race to win a gold medal. AFL and NRL seasons have finals… that’s sport."
