All 10 Indian wickets fell to pace as Shaheen Shah Afridi took four, with Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah earning three each. The match was eventually abandoned during the innings break, with incessant rain making it impossible to play.
Fans at home and spectators were all left disappointed, but one spectator had an additional disappointment as she had come to see Virat Kohli.

In a video posted on social media, one of the spectators from the match was interviewed after the washout and she can be heard saying, "Virat Kohli is my favourite player and I came here [to Sri Lanka from Pakistan] just to see him. I was expecting his century, but my heart was broken."
Kohli was dismissed for just four runs, playing onto his stumps off Shaheen Shah Afridi, who bowled a fiery opening spell to leave India reeling at 66/4.
