Cameron Green has shut down rumours surrounding his IPL availability, less than two weeks after going for a mammoth price at the auction.
The all-rounder went for $3.15 million AUD during the recent IPL auction, signing on with the Mumbai Indians for the competition starting on March 20th.
Green is sidelined with a finger injury for the next four to six weeks, putting him in doubt for the start of the Test series against India in February, but should be fit for the T20 competition.
Despite this, a recent report from The Times Of India indicated that Green would not be available for the entire tournament and could be limited in regards to bowling.

But speaking on SEN Radio, the 23-year-old shut down the rumours and confirmed his availability for the IPL, where he will receive a massive payday and put himself on the global stage.
“No, that’s not correct," he said.
“I’ve heard about this for a quite a while now I think. I don’t know where it’s come from.
“I’ve heard that I’m 100 per cent available for both skill sets in the IPL at the start, so yeah, I’m not too sure where that’s kind of come from.
"Obviously it turned out really well but I think at the same time you want to go out there and perform and kind of re-pay the faith they showed you.
“I think just having the right people around you I think keeps you pretty humble in a way.
"You’ve got the right people to drag you down if you get too ahead of yourself, but also the right people to bring you back up when you’re going not as great as you like."
Green was started to find some good form prior to his recent injury, taking a five-wicket haul and scoring a half-century against South Africa during the Boxing Day Test.
And while he is looking forward to the IPL, his main focus is getting himself fit and firing for the four-game Test series away from home.
"My first priority is the Test series that’s beforehand,” he said.
“I think me and Starcy [Mitchell Starc] are maybe touch and go for that first one, but obviously we’ll give ourselves the best chance.”
