What are the dimensions of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium?
The 34,000-seater stadium will measure approximately 361,850 square feet, or 33,616 square metres, by the time of its completion.
The soil used for the pitch in New York will be similar to the one seen at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. The use of drop-in pitches means that the pitch will offer a lot of pace and bounce, and would be conducive to batting, ensuring high-scoring affairs.
Per reports, the length of the boundaries are not that big. It is believed that the boundary sizes will hover around the 65-70m range. According to ICC's guidelines, the boundaries must not be shorter than 60m and must not be longer than 82m.
