The T20 World Cup 2024 co-hosted in the United States and the Caribbean has largely been dominated by the bowlers and has seen plenty of low-scoring thrillers in the group stages so far.

While big totals have been few, three 200+ scores have however, been scored in the group stages. Starting with Australia's 201/7 vs England, Sri Lanka's 201/6 vs Netherlands and the latest being co-hosts West Indies putting up 218/5 against Afghanistan.

The Sporting News lists the highest team scores in T20 World Cup history.

Top 10 highest team totals in T20 World Cup history

Sri Lanka still hold the record for the highest team total in T20 World Cups after they scored 260/6 against Kenya, in the inaugral edition of the tournament.

The top 10 list features 4 matches from the 2007 World Cup held in South Africa, followed by 3 matches in the 2016 World Cup held in India.

One of the co-hosts of the T20 World Cup 2024, West Indies put up 217/5 on board against West Indies in Saint Lucia today (18th June 2024) after a brilliant inning off 98 off 53 from flamboyant batter, Nicholas Pooran. This was the third 200 plus score scored by a team in the ongoing World Cup.
