It's the game many cricket fans around the world have been waiting for: the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 begins on Friday when the Gujarat Titans face the Chennai Super Kings.
Reigning champions the Titans are the favourites to make a winning start against opponents who finished second-bottom of the IPL last year.
The Titans won both editions of the fixture in 2022, triumphing by three wickets at home and seven wickets away.
Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill and David Miller scored a combined 1,451 runs last season and the trio will be hoping to shine again for the hosts in their first game.
Gill will hope the match marks a momentous homecoming after the man who scored the winning six at the Titans' home in the 2022 IPL final notched a Test century on the same pitch in March, having hit 100 in a T20 international the previous month.
Here's how to watch the action live as the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings clash in the IPL 2023.

Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings team news
Titans coach Ashish Nehra bought seven players via the auction – not only to add more competition for places, but to also cover players going on international duty.
David Miller will miss the opening game due to South Africa's ODI match against the Netherlands, while Joshua Little is set to miss a few games in May as he travels home for an ODI series versus Bangladesh.
The most notable absentee from the Super Kings squad for 2023 is West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. The IPL's all-time leading wicket-taker retired after last season but has stayed with the team in a new role as CSK bowling coach.
Ravindra Jadeja is still around in a playing capacity despite a tumultuous 2022 and is likely to remain vital for Fleming's side.
