However, very few know that Maxwell's wife, Vini Raman, is of Indian origin. Born on March 3, 1993, in Melbourne, Vini is a qualified pharmacist by profession. Her parents originally hail from Chennai, India, and they relocated to Australia in the early 1990s.

How did Glenn Maxwell meet Vini Raman?

The love story between Vini and Glenn Maxwell began when they were introduced through a mutual friend. They quickly formed a deep connection, and their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. After nearly four years of dating, Maxwell proposed to Vini and was engaged in February 2020.

The pair tied the knot on March 18 2022 in Australia, first according to Christian rituals and then flew back to India and had a wedding as per traditional Tamil rituals on March 27. 

Their nuptials were attended by cricket stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, making it a memorable event.

Recently, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Logan Maverick Maxwell. Both Vini and their newborn son have been accompanying Maxwell on his cricketing endeavours and were also in attendance at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai while the batsman shattered records with an explosive knock.
