Pakistan's World Cup campaign is off to a great start, having won both their games so far. Babar Azam's side outplayed Netherlands in their tournament opener before pulling off a thrilling win over Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

Pakistan were given a daunting target of 345 and to pull that off, they needed to break the World Cup record for most successful chases

Thanks to fine centuries from Mohammed Rizwan (131*) and Abdullah Shafeeque (113), Pakistan managed to do the unthinkable and go joint-top of the World Cup points table.

However, there is a huge concern for Pakistan in their captain and star batsman Babar Azam.

How much has Babar Azam scored in 2023 Cricket World Cup so far?

In the two matches so far, Babar Azam has only managed to score 15 runs and failed to deliver on his promise as the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world.

On Tuesday, he was caught down the legside to Dilshan Madushanka's bowling and left Pakistan at a precarious position of 37/2. However, thanks to Rizwan and Shafeeque, Azam was a relieved man at the end.

However, that has not stopped fans from taking a dig at Babar, calling him a flat-track bully against low-ranked teams like Nepal, Zimbabwe etc.
