Pat Cummins has been rested for Australia's second One Day International match against England on Saturday.
Josh Hazlewood has stepped in as Cummins' replacement at the SCG, becoming the 28th different player and second fast bowler to captain the Australia men's ODI team.
Mitch Marsh has also come into the starting XI, replacing all-rounder Cameron Green.
Hazlewood's official first duty as captain was the toss, which he won before electing to bat first.

England too has made a raft of changes, with Jos Buttler rested like his opposing captain.
Moeen Ali has been brought in as the fill-in captain.
Sam Curran, Adil Rashid and Phil Salt also move into the XI, replacing Luke Wood, Olly Stone and Chris Jordan.

After winning the opening match of the three-game ODI series, Australia will be looking to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in Sydney.
Dawid Malan led the way with the bat for the visitors in Adelaide on Thursday, but David Warner, Travis Head and Steve Smith combined for the home side to confidently chase down the total.
