Why is Australia participating in so many cricket tours?
The COVID-19 pandemic put a hold on many cricket plans between 2020 and 2021, meaning the Australian cricket team will be playing some catch-up across the next two years.
Notably, a trip to South Africa has been slotted into the schedule, following the postponement of a tour there in 2021.
On top of this, the upcoming T20 and ODI World Cups have led to a number of nations setting up various white ball tours in preparation for the tournaments.
