Takuma Inoue looks to make the third defense of his WBA bantamweight title against Seiya Tsutsumi at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo on October 13. The 12-round bout takes place on ESPN+ in the U.S.

The brother of undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue, Takuma (20-1) is on a seven-fight win streak. He's been an improving fighter for several years and hopes to defeat his countryman before moving on to unification matchups.

Tsutsumi (11-0-2) looks to go 2-0 in 2024. Holding local gold, he has eight wins via knockout.

Teraji (23-1) won the WBC light flyweight title in 2017 and made eight defenses before losing to Masamichi Yabuki. He regained his championship in a revenge win, added the WBA and Ring titles, and is now poised to make a splash in a new weight class.

Rosales (37-6) is a former WBC flyweight champion. "El Latigo" is on a five-fight win streak. 


Seigo Yuri Akui vs. Thananchai Charunphak

  • Belts at stake: WBA flyweight title

Seigo Yuri Akui defends the WBA flyweight title against Thananchai Charunphak

Akui (20-2-1) is 2-0 in 2024, winning the WBA flyweight title at the beginning of the year. The 29-year-old, a former local champion, has eleven wins via knockout.

Shokichi Iwata vs. Jairo Noriega

  • Iwata record: 13-1
  • Noriega record: 14-0
  • Belts at stake: WBO light flyweight title

Opening the card will be Shokichi Iwata vs. Jairo Noriega for the WBO light flyweight title. 

Iwata (13-1) is on a four-fight win streak after failing to capture the WBO belt in 2022. 

Noriega (14-0) has held European flyweight gold and has three wins via knockout.
