Following the biggest fight of his career, Jaime Munguia looks to return to the win column. The 27-year-old faces Erik Bazinyan in Arizona on September 20 in a fight that will air on ESPN+ in the U.S.

Munguia (43-1) was one of Golden Boy's top fighters but defected to Top Rank after losing against Canelo Alvarez for undisputed super middleweight gold in May. Before that, the Mexican star had posted big wins against Sergiy Derevyanchenko and John Ryder.

Bazinyan (32-0-1) has held NABF super middleweight gold and has 23 wins via knockout.

Munguia is the heavy betting favorite in this fight. However, the former WBO super welterweight champion won't take Bazyinan lightly.

"Erik Bazyinan is a good fighter. He's undefeated. He switches stances. We need to be careful with that. He's taller and has a longer reach than me. He has a good jab. He can punch well on the inside. He's a fighter who comes with all the desire to excel," Munguia said.
