Fabio Wardley looks to successfully defend the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles against fellow Brit Frazer Clarke on March 31. The fight in the O2 Arena airs on Peacock in the U.S.
The 29-year-old Wardley, managed by Dillian Whyte, is considered the next generation of heavyweight greats from the U.K. The Ipswich-born fighter turned pro in 2017 and won English gold in 2020. He beat Nathan Gorman in 2022 to win the British belt and beat down David Adeleye for the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
Wardley is ready to end his run at the domestic level and fight for world gold. With 16 wins via knockout, Wardley looks to make Frazer unlucky number 17.
"My record speaks for itself. I'm always looking for the knockout, for an early night. I'm not trying to stay in there too long and take too much damage, so the sooner it gets done, the better for me," Wardley told Sky Sports. "But that's always the objective. It's to knock my opponent out, make the fight entertaining, and get my hand raised."
