The Philadelphia 76ers will host the Golden State Warriors this Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center on ESPN.

The 76ers are the fifth-best team in the Eastern Conference, holding a 30-18 record. They're 17-7 at home, seven games back off the conference lead.

Unfortunately, they've lost Joel Embiid to a meniscus injury that figures to keep him out for, potentially, the entirety of the NBA season.

That means the 76ers will have to step up in his place. Tyrese Maxey is averaging 26.2 points per game; Tobias Harris is posting just under 18 points per contest, too. The 76ers own the sixth-best offense in the league, posting 119.1 points per game.

The Warriors are in the midst of a brutal season. They are the 12th standing team in the Western Conference with a 21-25 record. They are 8-12 on the road this season.

Klay Thompson is having a struggle-filled season. He's averaging 17.3 points per game, shooting 41.4% from the field and 37% from the 3-point line.

Fortunately, the Warriors own the seventh-best offense in the league, posting 119 points per game. On the other hand, their defense is near the bottom of the league, ranking 22nd amongst the NBA.
