A week after suffering a scary injury that required him to be immobilized and carted off the field at The Greenbrier, running back D'Onta Foreman was a full participant in practice.

The Browns took precautionary measures with Foreman's injury, a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain. Because they were in West Virginia, they airlifted him to a nearby hospital to be evaluated.

Thankfully, the scary hit did not involve any long-term injuries, and Foreman also did not suffer a concussion.

Foreman, 28, is the fourth running back on the Browns depth chart behind Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, and Pierre Strong, Jr.  Chubb is on the PUP list, and Ford recently joined camp late after being away for the birth of his second child.

Foreman could see preseason playing time, including on special teams since Nyheim Hines is also on the PUP list.

It is great to see a healthy Foreman back on the field so quickly.  He wants to make the 53-man roster so an injury and prolonged absence would have been detrimental in more ways than one.

He was a third-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2017 NFL Draft and has spent time with seven teams during his career, in some cases exclusively on the practice squad.
