The 2024 NHL Winter Classic is upon us. This season's matchup is between the Seattle Kraken and the Las Vegas Golden Knights on New Year's Day on truTV and TNT.

The Kraken are 14-14-9 this season, one spot out of the Pacific Division playoff qualifiers. They sport the fifth worst offense in the league, averaging 2.65 goals per game.

Goaltenders Joey Daccord and Philipp Grubauer have played well through this season. Combined, they've allowed just 2.97 goals per game, the 12th best mark in the NHL.

The Vegas Knights, last season's Stanley Cup champions, have the third best record in the NHL. They are 22-10-5 this season, holding the second season in the Pacific Division.

This season, they have the ninth best defense in the league, allowing 2.76 goals per game. They aren't doing as well on offense, scoring 3.32 goals per game, the 13th best mark in the NHL.

The Golden Knights' Jack Eichel has an impressive 40 points this season via 16 goals and 24 assists. Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn has 30 points via six goals and 24 assists.

NHL Winter Classic live stream: How to watch Golden Knights vs. Kraken

Streaming options are available on TNT App, Sling TV and DirecTV in the United States.

Where is the 2023 Winter Classic?

The 2024 Winter Classic will be played at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners. It's a retractable roof that allows for indoor and outdoor events.

It is the first time T-Mobile Park will host a Winter Classic. The previous two Winter Classics were each at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass., which was the first time the NHL repeated the same location for the event.
