In a recent discussion of the best NFL fan bases, ESPN radio host Evan Cohen shared his opinion of who should be at the top of the list. It was not a team that even made the Top 5 list debated by the program's hosts. That Top 5 list showed the Steelers as the best, followed by the Eagles, Packers, Bills, and Jets.

Cohen argued that the Cleveland Browns should be at the top of the list calling "no fan base better than the Cleveland Browns fanbase." He explained that the team's fans stuck with them through a lot of tough stuff including losing the team and going 1-31 over a two-season span.  Cohen talked about the long list of starting quarterbacks and failed draft picks that have not discouraged the spirited fanbase from showing up at home games and talking about their team all year long on ESPN Cleveland.

In contrast, he argued the teams on the list have had winning seasons and in the case of the Steelers, good ownership and an excellent track record of head coaches. Cohen also referenced his personal experience of living in New York when stating that the Jets are not a better fan base than the Browns.
