The Philadelphia Eagles are clearly planning for the future in the secondary.

They drafted a cornerback in the first round for the first time in over 20 years when they took Quinyon Mitchell out of Toledo, and they also drafted Iowa's Cooper DeJean in the second round.

With all of these moves, the Eagles may have one more in mind. But rather than bringing another player in, they would be shipping one away.

Anthony DiBona of Pro Football Network labeled cornerback James Bradberry as someone the Eagles could trade before the 2024 season is over.

"There might not be a more obvious candidate on this list than Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry," DiBona wrote. "After a tremendous performance in 2022, Bradberry was arguably one of the worst cornerbacks in the NFL last season. Now the Eagles have added multiple cornerbacks this offseason, in both free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft. As a result, Bradberry has made the move to safety, but it sure seems like his days in Philadelphia are numbered."

Bradberry allowed a passer rating of 108.6 when targeted and nine touchdowns in 2023, per PFF. It's safe to say that he is one name that the Eagles are looking to move after a very bad season a year ago.
