National Signing Day has come and gone, but it was not without a couple surprises and some loose ends that came with it.
As a whole, the day was far more uneventful than some that have come before it in the history of the early signing period, but perhaps the biggest storyline was standout Colorado offensive line commitment Jordan Seaton still remaining unsigned.
Here's everything to know about the situation and why Seaton has still not signed with a team yet.

Why hasn't Jordan Seaton signed with Colorado?
Seaton has still yet to sign with Colorado -- or any other team for that matter -- with Wednesday in the books. One of the most direct causes affecting highly rated players like Seaton in the modern era of college football is NIL, which has brought on much controversy with the way it has affected recruiting.
Seaton originally committed to Colorado on Dec. 7 and was expected to sign with the Buffs on Wednesday as the top member of Deion Sanders' recruiting class for 2024, but several are now expecting him to go to Maryland as the Terrapins have made a late, but strong push for the IMG Academy product. Seaton has reportedly been in touch with multiple programs and quietly visited Maryland over the weekend.
Other names that have been brought up in the mix as suitors to flip Seaton in addition to Maryland are Oregon, Nebraska, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Tennessee, among others.
Seaton has made some interesting comments in the times he's spoken during the early signing period, saying in an interview with Hayes Fawcett that “Nowadays in sports, you want to maximize your platform" and that "It’s crazy how you can commit to a school and people want you more.”
On Tuesday morning, he posted a well-known meme that indicated his indecision to his account on X (formerly Twitter), sparking hundreds of replies from fans trying to convince him to sign with their school.

It's easy to read between the lines here. Seaton remains undecided with no clear timeframe on when he will sign with a team.

Who is Jordan Seaton?
Seaton is one of the top overall recruits for the Class of 2024. The 6-5, 287-pound, five-star offensive tackle holds offers from the likes of Colorado, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and a host of others.
Seaton, who hails from the Washington D.C. area, played the senior year of his high school career at IMG Academy, building himself into the No. 1 offensive tackle, the No. 4 prospect in the state of Florida and the No. 11 overall player in the nation for the cycle according to the 247Sports Composite.
He's appealed tangibly and intangibly to scouts with his impressive 6-foot-10 wingspan and the element of athleticism he brings to his game, reaching 17.7 miles per hour during a game, according to 247Sports.
Money seems to have played a role in his recruiting process as multiple reports indicate he turned down a "multi-million" dollar offer from the Volunteers to play for Colorado and now seems to be entertaining the financial aspect of his commitment once more.
Deion Sanders does a lot of his best work in the transfer portal, so the potential loss of Seaton isn't quite as devastating as it may appear at first glance, though it's obviously substantial as the offensive line is one of the most important areas for improvement across the Colorado roster.
Whether or not he ultimately gets his guy will be something watch as there are multiple hands in a race that may not be headed to Boulder anymore after all.
