After a near two-week stretch of high-intensity baseball, the 2024 Little League World Series is set to draw to a close. 

Florida and Chinese Taipei will battle in the LLWS championship game on Sunday afternoon from South Williamsport, Pa.

The squad from Lake Mary, Fla., won the U.S. bracket with an emphatic, come-from-behind victory over Boerne, Texas, on Saturday. Lake Mary scored nine runs across the last two innings, staving off a comeback effort from Boerne to punch its ticket with a 10-7 win. 

Kuei-Shan Little League from Taoyuan, Taiwan, bested Venezuela, 4-1, to win the international title. Starting pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi struck out 12 batters in a dominant performance.
