A Round of 64 matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the College of Charleston Cougars in the West region of the bracket takes place Friday.

The Crimson Tide are a No. 4 seed in the tournament thanks to an at-large bid for their impressive season. They finished fourth in the SEC with a 21-11 overall record and 13-5 mark in the conference. They fell to Florida in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal.

The Crimson Tide have made the last four NCAA Tournaments. In that span, they made it the furthest last season, losing in the Sweet 16.

As for the Cougars, they won the Coastal Athletic Association tournament title game over Stony Brook, 82-79 in overtime. Reyne Smith made the final three free throws to save the game.

With that, they earned a No. 13 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They were a No. 12 seed in the tournament last season, losing in the first round. The Cougars have made six tournaments in their history. 

The last time the Cougars made back-to-back tournaments was the 1998-99 seasons. They've never made it past the second round.
