The Rams have won three of their last four games to get back in the playoff hunt in the NFC. After losing to the Ravens 37-31 last week, they will look to get back on track against the visiting Commanders in Week 15.

Los Angeles (6-7) has three of the league's top playmakers in quarterback Matthew Stafford, defensive tackle Aaron Donald and wide receiver Cooper Kupp, so there is plenty of reason to remain optimistic.

The key for LA against Washington could be its ability to run the ball. The Rams managed 128 yards rushing last week against the Ravens, who entered the game ranked 11th against the run. Kyren Williams led the way with 114 yards on 25 carries. Washington allows 113.8 yards per game.

Rams could get a boost with the return of safety Quentin Lake, who has missed three consecutive games with a hamstring injury.

The Commanders (4-9) have been chasing the Eagles and Cowboys in the NFC East and will need a productive offseason to close the gap. Washington is coming off its bye, so the team had some extra time to prepare for the Rams and snap a four-game losing streak.

Quarterback Sam Howell has experienced some growing pains, but he is gaining more confidence throwing the ball downfield. Injuries have hampered Washington this season, and linebacker Jamin Davis is the latest player to land on injured reserve.
