This Saturday, the Golden State Warriors will host the Phoenix Suns in a classic Western Conference battle on ABC.

The Warriors are struggling, despite winning their past three games. This season, they are 24-25, holding down the 11th spot in the conference.

It's a tight race, however, as the Warriors are five games back on the sixth spot in the conference. They're 10.5 games back on the lead.

Despite their shortcomings this season, the Warriors have the sixth-best offense in the league, scoring 119.2 points per game. Their defense, however, is in the lower echelon of the NBA, allowing 117.9 points per contest.

Steph Curry is leading the team with 27.7 points per game. Klay Thompson is averaging 17.1 points per game, but was recently yanked from the closing lineup for his recently poor play.

The Suns are 31-21 this season, giving them the fifth spot in the Western Conference. There's a sizeable gap between fourth and fifth place, as the Suns are five games back on the conference lead, versus the Clippers' one game.

They are the owners of the 15th best defense and 12th best offense in the NBA. Kevin Durant's 28.3 points per game is leading the Suns this season. He will take on his former team in the Warriors in this one.
