The Premier Lacrosse League semifinals are set. Between the Maryland Whipsnakes, New York Atlas, Utah Archers and Carolina Chaos, one team will be crowed PLL champions.
The Whipsnakes held off Denver 11-10 for a spot in the semifinals, after TJ Malone scored the game-winning goal. They'll face the top-seeded Atlas, which has one of the most complete rosters in the league.
The Carolina Chaos bested the Boston Cannons 8-4 behind one of the toughest defenses in the league, holding the Cannons scoreless for over 25 minutes. They'll be up against the defending champion Archers. Attackman Matt Moore was activated off injured reserve for the game, bringing a valuable threat for Utah.
The winner of each matchup will advance to the Premier Lacrosse League final on Sept. 15. Which teams will it be?
