Grambling claimed the No. 1 seed in the 2024 SWAC Men’s Basketball Tournament as the regular-season champion.
Grambling enters the tournament with a 17-14 overall record and a 14-4 mark in conference play; it claimed the SWAC regular-season crown for the second season in row.
Alcorn State claimed the No. 2 seed while Texas Southern claimed the No. 3 seed in the tournament followed by No. 4 seed Southern.
Bethune-Cookman is the No. 5 seed followed by No. 6 seed Jackson State.
Alabama A&M and Alabama State claimed the final two tournament bids and will enter the tournament as the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds, respectively.
