The Carolina Panthers are in phase one of a rebuild project, and year two of the Bryce Young experiment.

In order to help Young bounce back from a stressful rookie season that saw the Panthers only win two games, Carolina hired Dave Canales as their head coach to be the lone voice in Young's ear, and also brought in high-quality pass-catchers.

They traded for Diontae Johnson from the Pittsburgh Steelers and drafted South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette. The Panthers had a scare with Legette after he left practice with a lower leg injury. However, x-rays came back negative.

The Panthers are expecting big things from their rookie receiver, so hopefully the MRI also yields good news.
