How out of it is Phil Jackson?

The bumbling Knicks president actually fell asleep during a top player's pre-NBA Draft workout, according to ESPN analyst Jay Williams.

Williams, who'll serve as a roving reporter/analyst during ESPN's 2017 NBA Draft coverage Thursday night, has been talking with most of the projected top picks before the big event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

NBA DRAFT RUMORS: Knicks, Bulls could be targeting Josh Jackson

Williams told shocked anchor Bob Ley the somnolent Phil story during Thursday's edition of "Outside the Lines."

"A top-15 draft pick told me the other day … that Phil Jackson was falling in and out of sleep during my workout," Williams said.

"What? Falling asleep at a workout?" Ley asked.

"Falling in and out of sleep at my workout," Williams responded. "This is what this guy told me. My mouth dropped to the floor."

Peeved that Kristaps Porzingis missed his exit meeting with Knicks brass, the Zen Master has been trying to trade his young Latvian star this week.

Never mind that Porzingis is the Knicks' only good young player. Never mind that hard-to-please New York hoops fans love the way he plays the game. Never mind that Jackson has already alienated star Carmelo Anthony.

Jackson claims he's never been blown off by a player during an exit interview before. But Ley demolished that excuse by noting Shaquille O'Neal did the same thing in 2003 when Jackson was coaching the Lakers.

VECENIE: Porzingis trade talks keep Knicks on path of destruction

Trading Porzingis would be a stunningly stupid move, according to basketball experts (and anyone with general NBA knowledge). Despite his 11 rings as an NBA coach, Jackson's been an "atrocity" as a front-office executive, concluded Williams. Knicks fans would agree.

And what will Knicks owner James Dolan be doing Thursday night during one of his club's most important draft in years? Dolan's playing a gig with his band, noted Ley, voice dripping with contempt.

Abandon all hope, Knicks fans.
