NFL scores Week 16: Live results, updates, highlights from today’s games image

Just two weeks remain in the NFL regular season as teams are solidifying their playoff position.

Week 16 features a rare occurrence of three Saturday games in additional to the normal Sunday slate and the final "Monday Night Football" game of the season.

The Bills and Patriots highlight Saturday's trio of games. Sunday, meanwhile, features an important NFC East battle between the Cowboys and Eagles in Philadelphia. The Packers and Vikings will keep the divisional trend going on Monday night.

Despite just two games remaining for each team, most playoff seeds are still up for grabs. The Ravens, Chiefs and Saints are the only squads that entered Week 16 with divisional crowns, which guarantees a top-four seed.

Sporting News is providing live scores, results and highlights from all the Week 16 action around the NFL.

NFL updates, highlights from Week 16 

6:44 p.m.: Miles Sanders eases his way into the end zone behind a strong push from the Eagles offensive line to allow Philadelphia to go back up two scores.

6:35 p.m.: That could be the dagger. Phillip Lindsay escaped for a 27-yard scamper to propel the Broncos to a two-score advantage. 

6:19 p.m.: The Broncos roll out the option play and DaeSean Hamiltonn punches it in to regain the lead. 

6:05 p.m.: Kenny Golladay stretches out for a touchdown score in what was a tremendous effort. Lions back on top. 

5:39 p.m.: Kyler Murray escapes and then flings it to Larry Fitzgerald at the last moment for the improvisational touchdown. Cardinals are ahead in Seattle. 

5:30 p.m.: Derek Carr takes it himself to give the Raiders the advantage shortly before intermission. 

5:04 p.m.: Jason Sanders nails the game-winning kick which means the Bengals have locked up the No. 1 pick for the 2020 draft.

4:52 p.m.: Another punt return touchdown. This time, it's by the Lions' Jamal Agnew.

4:48 p.m.: Philadelphia is out to a fast start in its pivotal matchup in the NFC East race against Dallas.

4:41 p.m.: The Giants end the Redskins' hopes with an overtime touchdown.

4:35 p.m.: The Bengals get the No. 1 seed with a loss but instead have reeled off 23 unanswered points and a last-second touchdown and two-point conversion to send things into overtime against the Dolphins.

4:09 p.m.: Michael Thomas sets the single-season receptions record with his 144th catch, which goes for the touchdown. After review, though, Thomas was ruled down before reaching the end zone and then scored two plays later.

3:49 p.m.: Tannehill slings it to Tajae Sharpe for the touchdown to keep the Titans within striking distance of the Saints.

3:45 p.m.: The second Nyheim Hines punt return touchdown of the afternoon and the Colts are blowing out the Panthers.

3:22 p.m.: Huge answer by the Titans to prevent this one from getting out of hand after the Saints' 24 unanswered points.

3:19 p.m.: Another one for Kamara! He now has two touchdowns on the day and the Saints are laying it on the Titans. 

3:09 p.m.: Ryan Fitzpatrick has to be making a difference in some fantasy football leagues across the country as he tosses yet another touchdown.

3:01 p.m.: Make that 21 unanswered for the Ravens as they take a two-score lead over the Browns. 

2:53 p.m.: The streak finally comes to an end. Alvin Kamara scores a touchdown for the first time since late September.

2:34 p.m.: The Jackson-to-Andrews connection is back again right before halftime. Ravens with two big scores prior to intermission.

2:26 p.m.: The Steelers' gamble without any timeouts before half pays off big time.

2:24 p.m.: Lamar Jackson hits Mark Andrews downfield and an extra point will give the Ravens their first lead of the afternoon. 

2:22 p.m.: New Orleans cuts into the Titans lead with Jared Cook scoring form 61 yards out against his former team.

2:19 p.m.: Ryan Fitzpatrick (or Fitzmagic) picks up his third first-half touchdown against the Bengals. Believe it or not, the Ravens are the only team without a point so far on NFL Sunday.

1:54 p.m.: Nice start for the Browns. Cleveland keeps its drive alive to due to Pittsburgh penalties and capitalize on it on the Baker Mayfield touchdown pass. 

1:29 p.m.: The Titans are making quick work of the Saints so far, picking up another long touchdown to go up two scores.

1:24 p.m.: Nyheim Hines gathers the punt return and then is off to the races for an 84-yard score.

1:15 p.m.: One of the better catches you will see this season: Robby Anderson leaps for the touchdown grab to give the Jets an early lead.

1:13 p.m.: Big man touchdown alert for the Dolphins!

1:11 p.m.: The first score of NFL Sunday: Daniel Jones takes an endzone shot to put the Giants up first.
