Jayden Daniels back on top of NFL OROY odds boards, Commanders odds shorten to win NFC East

Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels enjoyed his coming out party in an epic 38-33 victory over the Bengals on Monday Night Football.

After Daniels outdueled fellow LSU QB and Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, he's now the betting favorite to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Washington's odds to win the NFC East have shortened.

The betting line for Commanders' Week 4 game at the Arizona Cardinals has also adjusted. Washington opened +6 at the Westgate SuperBook on Sunday night, but the spread sits +3.5 at the Las Vegas shop as of this writing on Tuesday morning.

Let's examine the odds shifts at top NFL betting sites, including BetMGM.

Odds to win 2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year

Daniels could be found in the +300 to +350 range on OROY odds boards last week, but his odds have tightened considerably after last night's performance.

Jayden Daniels

Daniels was electric in the MNF spotlight. He threw for 254 yards and two TDs with no picks, and ran for 39 yards and another score.

Marvin Harrison Jr. entered Week 3 as the +250 betting favorite to win OROY at BetMGM, with Daniels priced as the second choice at +350. Daniels is now a consensus favorite. Here are his OROY odds across the industry:

  • DraftKings +150
  • Caesars +150
  • BetMGM +170
  • FanDuel +175

At +2000, Denver QB Bo Nix is BetMGM's biggest OROY liability. He's taken 22.1% of tickets and 22.3% of handle after opening at +1700.

Malik Nabers

BetMGM is dealing Nabers at +250 entering Week 4. Nabers had another monster game for the Giants on Sunday. He finished with eight catches, 78 yards and two TDs in the win over Cleveland.

That came after winning a head-to-head showdown with Daniels in Week 2. Nabers had 127 receiving yards and a TD in the 21-18 loss to Washington while Daniels threw for no TDs and a pair of interceptions.

Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison, who's +425 at BetMGM, wasn't as prolific yardage-wise in Arizona's 20-13 loss to Detroit. He recorded five catches on 11 targets for 64 yards. He did find the end zone again on a 10-yard strike from Kyler Murray for Arizona's lone TD on the day.

Bo Nix

He's a longshot, but Broncos' QB Bo Nix is attracting plenty of action in OROY betting at BetMGM:

  • Highest Ticket%: Bo Nix 22.1%
  • Highest Handle%: Bo Nix 22.3%
  • Biggest Liability: Bo Nix

Commanders odds tighten to win NFC East

At BetMGM, Washington opened at +1000 to win the NFC East. Those odds lengthened to +1200 last week, but have since been shortened to +700 at some sportsbooks after the win over Cincinnati.

The Eagles are still a commanding favorite to win the division title. Here are BetMGM's odds:

Philadelphia is taking the bulk of action in the NFC East futures market at BetMGM:

  • Highest Ticket%: Eagles 45.4%
  • Highest Handle%: Eagles 81.6%
  • Biggest liability: Eagles

Commanders vs. Cardinals odds: Betting line moves in Washington's direction

The Cardinals were priced as 6-point favorites for their Week 4 tilt against the Commanders, when opening lines were posted in Vegas shortly after Arizona's 20-13 home loss to the Lions on Sunday. Checking the odds boards on Tuesday, we see the spread reduced to the -3.5 to -4 range.
