New York Jets' running back Breece Hall claims the best is yet to come.

After an ACL tear prematurely ended his promising rookie season, Hall returned in 2023 to the tune of 1,585 scrimmage yards and a team-high nine touchdowns. The 2022 second-round draft pick ranked second amongst all running backs in yardage gained, behind only San Francisco 49ers' All-Pro Christian McCaffrey.

Despite his electrifying presence and top-tier production, Hall essentially promised an enhanced performance in 2024. Contributing to the conversation about his early-career accomplishments, the Jets' RB1 said "Ain’t even been the best Me yet" in a post on the social media site now known as X.

Hall included the message when sharing an informational post from football analyst Warren Sharp, who highlighted that the dynamic running back's success has come in spite of tough conditions. Over the past two years, the Jets have been a Bottom 4 team in "run block win rate" and their offensive line ranks next-to-last in "injury rate."

Injuries forced New York to use 12 different starting offensive line combinations in 2023. The Jets addressed the issue this past offseason by seemingly upgrading the starters at three spots.

Hall has averaged 4.8 yards per carry over 24 career appearances. He exceeded the 20.5 miles per hour mark in his first game back from ACL surgery and led all NFL running backs with 76 receptions last year.

Sharp also noted that Hall has produced despite the team's instability at quarterback. After Aaron Rodgers went down in Week 1, the Jets started three different quarterbacks who proceeded to combine for the league's second-worst yards per pass play output.
