Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr., 25, achieved many career bests in 2023. Six sacks, six forced fumbles, and three interceptions are why he is the top-ranked NFL safety going into the 2024 season.
An NFL insider noted that before 2023, Winfield Jr. was playing in the nickel position; however, last season he was in the post. This adjustment allowed his athleticism, instincts, and range to take over.
