The New York Rangers will host the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Friday for a top-tier NHL matchup on ESPN.

The Rangers are leading the Metropolitan division with a 29-15-3 record this season. They have 61 season points thus far, too. Their record is the NHL's seventh best.

The Golden Knights own the second best record in the Pacific division behind the Vancouver Canucks. They own a 28-14-6 record along with 62 season points. They have the sixth best record in the league.

On offense, the Rangers are led by Artemi Panarin. The Bread Man has 63 points this season (tied-4th in the NHL), courtesy of 29 goals and 34 assists.

Mark Stone leads the Golden Knights this season with 49 points (tied-18th in the NHL). He has 15 goals and 34 assists to his name.

Adin Hill has performed as arguably the league's best goalie this season for the Golden Knights. He's allowing just 1.93 goals per game with a superior .935 save percentage on the year.

He's only played 16 games, however. Logan Thompson has played 30 games for the Golden Knights, allowing 2.73 goals per game.

Jonathan Quick is allowing 2.46 goals per game for the Rangers, which is the ninth lowest value in the NHL. But Igor Shesterkin has played twice as many games as Quick, allowing 2.82 goals per game.
