Day Two of Triton's 100,000 No Limit Hold'Em Main Event in Vietnam saw the field of 62 whittled down to the final nine players. The Day One chip leader, Daniel Smiljkovic, continued his strong play, ending Day Two third in chips.

Smiljkovic couldn't quite keep pace, though, with Talal Shakerchi, who went from fifth in chips after Day One to the chip leader after Day Two.

Adrian Mateos also vaulted near the top of the leaderboard after a cooler preflop with Sam Grafton, who busted in 16th place. Grafton four-bet his pocket jacks all-in under the gun and was called by Mateos' aces in a 2.6 million chip pot.

Lun Loon was the unlucky final table bubble for the tournament. His ace-nine suited in the small blind ran into the pocket nines of Fedor Holz, and no ace appeared on the board.

Shakerchi, Smiljkovic, Mateos, and Holz all have above-average stacks entering the last day of play. As a result, they will be the favorites to win it all.

The nine remaining contestants will fight for the biggest prize pool in a 100,000 buy-in Triton Main Event. A record 135 players entered the field. They play down to a winner on Friday at 1 pm local time.
