Neeraj Chopra created history at the deferred 2020 Tokyo Olympics by becoming the first Indian to medal in track and field as he captured gold medal in the men's javelin throw event.

The star athlete will be in action once again ahead of the Paris Olympics in July, competing in the final round of the Federation Cup 2024 in Bhubaneshwar, Kalinga. Neeraj will be competing in a domestic competition for the first time since 2021.

The last time Neeraj participated in this event, he won the gold medal with a throw of 87.80 metres. Along with Neeraj, fellow compatriot Kishore Jena has also secured qualification for Paris Olympics 2024.

What time will the Federation Cup 2024 Javelin throw final start? 

The Javelin throw is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15. The event is set to kick-off at 7:00 PM IST.
