The Men's Asian Champions Trophy will return in 2023, after the previous edition in 2021. This year will be the seventh edition of the tournament started in 2011, organised by the Asian Hockey Federation.
The tournament will run from 3-12 August 2023.

Where is the 2023 Asian Champions Trophy being held?
The 2023 Asian Champions Trophy will be held in Chennai, at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium. It is the first time the tournament will be held in India, after previous editions in China, Qatar, Japan, Malaysia, Oman and Bangladesh.

Which countries are participating in the 2023 Asian Champions Trophy?
The lineup for 2023 will see six teams participating, after only five nations contested the 2021 tournament. Hosts India will be joined by China, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan and defending champions South Korea.
The six teams will play each other in a round-robin format after which the top four will contest the semi-finals.

Which country has won the Asian Champions Trophy the most number of times?
India and Pakistan have both won the Asian Champions Trophy on three occasions, including a shared title in 2018 after rain washed out the final.
South Korea have won one tournament, the most recent one held in Bangladesh in 2021.
Which is the strongest team in the 2023 Asian Champions Trophy?
As per the current International Hockey Federation (FIH) rankings, India are the top-ranked team in Asia, with a world ranking of No 4. South Korea are ranked No 9, Malaysia No 10, Pakistan No 16, Japan No 19 and China No 25.
