The athlete recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met with the Indian athletes who have qualified for the Paris Olympics. During the meeting, he expressed his confidence in their abilities and wished them success. Modi said on social media, "I am confident our athletes will give their best and make India proud."
New Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse, and Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha were also present. The contingent features nearly 120 athletes in total.
