On Sunday, May 12, two of the playoff contenders in IPL 2024 will clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on Delhi Capitals (DC).

This is set to be a crucial clash in the race for the playoff spots as both sides are looking to sneak into third or fourth place. RCB have won four matches in a row and are building steam. Returning to home turf, they will be looking to make a real statement with a big win.

DC have been up-and-down in recent matches but are coming off a win against second-placed Rajasthan Royals. They will be without captain Rishabh Pant who was handed a one-match ban for a third over-rate offence of the season, which will be a big blow. They are certainly capable of turning up and beating RCB, so this should be an exciting clash.

The Sporting News takes a look at the head-to-head records between the sides ahead of the clash.
