India’s explosive wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is well known for his aggressive batting style on the pitch. Although the 26-year-old loves to smash bowlers all around the park, he is much more of a jolly character on and off the pitch.
Since his unfortunate accident back in December 2022, Pant has made a sensational comeback back into the Indian side. He initially competed in the IPL playing for the Delhi Capitals (DC) wherein he looked back to his best, bagging himself a place in the squad for India’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.

Pant was India’s squad during the Sri Lanka series as well, playing in both T20I and ODI series. He was one of India’s best Test players before his mishap in 2022. Pant is one of the few rare players to have scored away centuries against England, South Africa and Australia.
He is yet to mark his return back into the Test side and is expected to be in the squad for the Test series against Bangladesh starting September 19.
The 26-year-old will have an important role to play in India’s Test side as they travel to Australia in November for the latest edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
