Alert your neighbors: The Block Party will continue.
Michael Block quickly became the best story of the 2023 PGA Championship, as the 46-year-old finished 15th, one of the best results for a PGA professional in the tournament's history.
Block, though, is hoping that he's more than just a one-tourney wonder, and his performance at Oak Hill has given him the opportunity to prove it.
Block is now a hot commodity in the golf scene thanks to his showing, and it's going to continue this weekend at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas, courtesy of a sponsor exemption. After that, it's open season for Block, who will likely return to PGA Tour events through the remainder of the 2023 season.
