Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matt Stafford, 36, still has it.  He can throw a long ball while keeping his cool and lead his team from come-from-behind situations.

Stafford channeled his inner Tom Brady on Sunday.  The Rams were down by 10 points, and the Rams top two wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are out with injuries.  Stafford did not flinch.  He delivered big play after big play to get his team in contention and ultimately win the game.

Today is why the Rams will continue rolling with Matthew Stafford.

10-points down in the fourth quarter and he just comes up with big throw after big throw in the moments when it matters most.

Down his top two receivers and it did not matter.

Next Gen Stats estimated that the Rams probability to win the game with 4:14 left in the game was 3.20%. Not only did Stafford lead his team to two scores, but the drives were quick.  No unnecessary time was wasted. This is vintage Brady behavior.

The Rams’ win probability was as low as 3.2% with 4:14 remaining in the fourth quarter in their comeback win over the 49ers.

With all of this being said, it is not any wonder that Rams HC Sean McVay started his press conference saying what all of us were thinking.
