YouTuber Logan Paul is taking his talents from the boxing ring to the wrestling ring
Paul will team up with The Miz to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Coming on Night 1 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this will be one of several celebrity-related matches at the event. Last year, Paul was in the corner of Sami Zayn when Zayn faced Kevin Owens.
Owens ended up giving Paul a Stunner following the match at WrestleMania 37. Now Paul is getting in on the action. Is he biting off more than he can chew?

Why is Logan Paul teaming with The Miz?
The Miz started a feud with Rey Mysterio, with a match between the two taking place at the Elimination Chamber event in February. Miz hit Dominick Mysterio, Rey’s son, with a cheap shot and Dominick retaliated. One thing led to another, and Miz challenged the Mysterios at WrestleMania.
But who would be his partner?
WWE and Miz were teasing Cody Rhodes, who is rumored to have returned to the company. It ended up being Paul, an Ohio native just like Miz. Paul joined Miz in insulting the Mysterios and then went on to attack both of them. The match was set after that.
Paul told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that competing in pro wrestling, especially in WWE, was always on his bucket list. Teaming with Miz, who he has had on his podcast before, just felt natural.

Is Logan Paul serious about this WWE run?
Per WWE, Paul is taking this new opportunity seriously. Paul last fought in a combat sports ring in June 2021, in an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather. WWE released a video of Paul and Miz putting in work during training.

Paul and his brother Jake have teased appearing in all combat sports, with Jake boxing more often than Logan. Logan Paul told talkSPORT that he discussed his desire to work in a backstage role with WWE. He wants to be on the creative team, but he also wouldn't say no to being a full-time wrestler.
"It just has to make sense with my schedule," he said, via The Sportster. "I'm doing so much stuff and I have to really be careful where I allocate my energy. This happened with boxing. At first I did it, I tried it out and I loved it, so I kept doing it."
His goal, as he told Helwani, is to jump off the top rope as high as he can.
Logan Paul joins Johnny Knoxville and Pat McAfee as celebrities who will compete at WrestleMania 38.
