TAB has been at the forefront of the betting industry here in Australia for decades - and their new-look app will make sure that doesn't change.
With a bumper spring carnival already underway and four massive races still on the horizon in the next four weeks, TAB have made a stack of punter-friendly changes for their users.
If you're someone who only bets sporadically for the big races or at the pub with mates, the new-look TAB app is the perfect fit with updates to 'Venue Mode' features.
TAB are also set to give punters a chance to have a "throw at the stumps" in certain races.
Play Central, watch all 3 sky racing channels live on the TAB app.
The latest update for the app and digital platform for TAB will include many brilliant features, including:
- Making it nine seconds faster to place a win or place bet
- Adding Sky Racing and Sports Vision to betting slips so customers no longer miss a moment of live action
- Upgrades to 'Venue Mode' which will allow customers to access more offers while betting in TAB’s 4,000 venues across the country
- A new personalised home page that makes it easier to access personal betting information
- Being able to watch Sky or Sports and bet at the same time
- ‘Bet Slip’ and ‘My Bets’ sections are now world class in terms of functionality.
TAB are also working on a social betting function and changes to their Same Game Multi features, which will likely be available before Christmas.
Tabcorp CEO Adam Rytenskild said the company had always hoped to release the updates prior to the major races this spring including The Everest and Melbourne Cup, and they've delivered on their goal.
“We promised our customers we would deliver an app that was faster, simpler and more personalised well before the Spring Carnival features and we have delivered on time,’’ he said.
“We want to be customer obsessed in everything we do and this is the first of what will be regular upgrades of our App to transform the digital wagering experience for punters.
“We’ve listened to our customers and our new app has been developed with the feedback of punters front of mind. It’s faster and easier to place a bet and punters won’t miss a second of live racing vision while they place their bets.
“The flutter technology will allow us to update our app fortnightly if we want.
"We’re going to continually transform our digital experience to become the best for Australian punters.”
