World Cup commercials are meant to inspire, meant to unite and meant to pull at the heartstrings.

It's what makes the World Cup so great. The best players in the World come together for the best tournament in sports, and much of the excitement is drawn from not the action, but the pride and unity the event provides.

The latest commercial from The Bank of Chile, the official sponsor of the Chilean national team, does just that, drawing on the heroic story of the Chilean miners who survived being trapped underneath the earth for 69 straight days in 2010.

In this place we were trapped for 70 days.

We were swallowed by the Earth. It was then we had to prove what we were made of.

We knew we had millions of Chileans outside who believed in us.

And this Earth was witness of all that.

That is why this Earth, we'll take to Brazil, to the court where our football team will train.

To fill it with hope and courage.

So we can show the World that nothing is impossible for a Chilean.

Spain is difficult? The Netherlands is difficult? We are not scared of the Group of Death.

We do not care about death, because we have beaten death before.

Incredible stuff.
