Jay Bothroyd is a columnist for The Sporting News, offering his expert take on the world of football. Jay enjoyed an illustrious career in England as a striker with the likes of Wolves, Cardiff City and QPR, and spent time with Perugia in Italy. He moved to Asia in 2014, where he enjoyed a goal-filled spell in the J. League with Jubilo Iwata and Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. He has played for his country at both junior and senior level, making his full international debut for the Three Lions against France in 2010. As well as writing for TSN, Jay is an established TV pundit in the U.K.
